       Recently, the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2026 grandly opened in Boao, Hainan. With the theme "Shaping Our Common Future: New Realities, New Opportunities, New Cooperation," the forum brought together global dignitaries, academic leaders, and industry pioneers for in-depth discussions across four key pillars: "Grasping Global Trends, Guiding Development Direction," "Deepening Regional Cooperation, Unleashing Robust Vitality," "Driving Transformational Innovation, Unlocking Development Potential," and "Strengthening Partnerships, Achieving Inclusive Development." Deebiotech, the only company from Deyang invited, showcased its biotech innovations, deeply engaged in global dialogues, and put Deyang's biopharma strengths on the global stage.

      Deebiotech's Vice President Zhang Qiang, General Manager of Investment & Development Zhang Xuanming, and Director of the President's Office Li Jingwen jointly attended the Boao Forum. Zhang Xuanming said that Deebio attended to keep pace with the latest global industry trends, learn international advanced practices, and inject new momentum into the enterprise's high-quality development; while also showcasing Deyang's biotech innovation and commitment to the world.

      At the forum's plenary session, Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, emphasized that the changes in the world, the times, and history are accelerating. With great foresight, President Xi Jinping proposed the vision of building a community with a shared future for mankind and introduced four major initiatives on global development, security, civilization, and governance, thereby charting a course through the century-long transformation of the world. We must align with the prevailing trend of peace, development, cooperation, and mutual benefit, join hands to build an Asian homeland, resolutely implement the "four rejections and four initiatives," and jointly create a better tomorrow of peace and tranquility, win-win cooperation, fairness and justice, and mutual respect and trust. He also noted that China's 14th Five-Year Plan has concluded successfully and the 15th Five-Year Plan outline has been approved. Going forward, China will implement the new development philosophy, promote high-quality development, expand high-level opening up, adhere to expanding domestic demand, innovation-driven development, free trade, and comprehensive rule of law, accelerate the development of new quality productive forces, continuously optimize the market-oriented, law-based, and internationalized business environment, and share opportunities with the world.

      As a national high-tech enterprise deeply rooted in biotechnology, Deebiotech has always closely aligned its development with the nation's strategic priorities. 2026 marks the beginning of the 15th Five-Year Plan, and the forum precisely signaled policy directions in biopharmaceuticals, foreign trade upgrading, and regional synergy.       At the sub-forum "Implementing the Sustainable Development Goals: Commitments and Actions," Qu Dongyu, Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, and Daren Tang, Director-General of the World Intellectual Property Organization, proposed that advancing the Sustainable Development Goals requires strengthening technological innovation and technology commercialization, with a focus on key areas such as agriculture, food security, and green technologies. Qu Dongyu emphasized improving production efficiency through technology and policy, while Tang stated that technology commercialization should be promoted through institutional frameworks and platforms, jointly advocating that outcomes benefit the people.

       Feng Fei, Secretary of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee, systematically introduced the three-phase plan for the Hainan Free Trade Port at the sub-forum "Global Free Trade Ports: Opportunities and Missions as Gateways of Opening Up": completing island-wide special customs operations by 2025; fully establishing a new highland of China's open economy by 2035; and building a high-standard free trade port with international influence by the middle of this century. He stated that Hainan will continue to expand openness, deepen cross-border financial reform, promote cross-border flow of factors, optimize the business environment, and fully advance high-quality development.

       Leveraging the open policies of the Hainan Free Trade Port and the advantages of its healthcare innovation pilot programs, Deebiotech has established a subsidiary in Hainan to comprehensively deploy its Free Trade Port operations. The Boao Forum enabled company to precisely align with specialized policies on biopharmaceuticals, customs clearance for foreign trade, and tax incentives, facilitating connections with Free Trade Port industry chain resources, establishing an overseas market transit hub, and further optimizing its global supply chain layout.
